Fabulous Finish

All Nursery did really well as they began staying for school lunches last week. We have had many clean plates and children trying new foods which was good to see. They have all picked up the new routine of choosing their food and then clearing up afterwards.

The highlight of last week was the EYFS performance on Friday of "A sunflower ate my Supper". The children looked great, so thank you parents for providing the costumes. They all sang with much enthusiasm and afterwards enjoyed a family picnic outside.

Well done Nursery for a great year. You have all worked hard in all you have done and all the Nursery staff are very proud of all you have achieved. We wish you all the best as you move to your new Reception classes. We hope you all have happy and safe holidays.

The second part of this blog is for all the new children who we look forward to welcoming into Nursery in September. There are some photos of the adults you will see in Nursery and some photos of different places in Nursery and the school.

Dell Farm

We have had a busy couple of weeks in Nursery. Last week we enjoyed making some clay turtles and designing our own animals. We hope you enjoyed looking at them at Celebration Evening.
We have also started rehearsing our EYFS production of "There's a Sunflower in my Supper." We look forward to you joining us this Friday at 10.45am for the performance followed by a picnic in the outdoor area. Please can all costumes be in school in a named carrier bag by Wednesday, thank you.
The highlight of last week was the Nursery trip to Dell Farm. A big thank you to all the parents who accompanied the children on the day. The day included an exciting ride on the coach, a workshop on the story of the Gruffalo , we enjoyed eating our packed lunches together and of course we had a chance to say hello to a few animals. Here are some photos of the day.

This week we start school lunches. Thank you for signing up your child's choices. On the next blog I will post some photos showing how the children got on.
Have a lovely week,

Sports Day

Over the past two weeks we have been busy practising for Sports' Day. We had  a great day on Friday and all the children did really well. Here we are getting ready for our big day.

And here we are in action today!

In maths we have thinking of the different ways you can make a number.

On Wednesday it was good to see many of the Nursery children participating in the Active Travel Breakfast. Many enjoyed meeting:
